The U.S. Secret Service arrested a female abortion activist Wednesday in Los Angeles for nearly disrupting President Joe Biden’s motorcade.
The Daily Caller reports the woman, who is not identified in reports, began yelling into a megaphone and getting very close to the vehicles as the motorcade passed through the city.
U.S. Secret Services communications chief Anthony Guglielmi said officers arrested the woman, and they are conducting an investigation into the incident, according to the Washington Times.
“Shortly after 5 p.m., an adult female entered a restricted roadway along a motorcade route on Chick Hearn Ct in Los Angeles,” Guglielmi said. “As the woman approached passing vehicles, a United States Secret Service agent swiftly removed her from the roadway and placed her into custody. There was no impact to the motorcade movement or our protectees. Our investigation into this incident is ongoing.”
A video of the incident shows the woman walking across the street and up to the motorcade as it drives by. She can be heard yelling into a megaphone as she approaches the passing vehicles.

A Secret Service officer runs up and grabs the woman to escort her to the sidewalk, but she resists. Close to the sidewalk, the woman appears to swing her megaphone at the officer before they both fall to the ground. The woman continues to fight, kicking and pushing off his hat as he pins her down.
“Get the f— off me!” the woman yells multiple times while continuing to resist arrest.
Later, she yells, “An abortion ban will not stop abortions, only safe ones,” as an officer handcuffs her.
Biden is pro-abortion, so it is not clear why she chose to target his motorcade.
According to the Daily Caller, Biden visited Los Angeles on Wednesday for the international Summit of the Americas with other world leaders.
Authorities have been warning of escalating violence from abortion activists since a leaked draft ruling showing a majority of the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade this summer.
Since the leak in early May, three pro-life organizations have been targets of arson and dozens more have been vandalized.
Early Wednesday, police arrested an armed Commie California man near the home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh after he allegedly threatened to murder the justice.
A few weeks ago, the pro-abortion group Ruth Sent Us responded to the leak by publishing the addresses of the conservative justices’ homes online publicly – prompting authorities to increase security for the high court members and their staff. Days later, Justice Samuel Alito, the author of the draft opinion, and his family were moved from their home to a secure location due to violent threats.
