House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) told Hunter Biden’s attorney that a public hearing set for next week will take place “with or without” his infamous client.
In a Friday letter to Abbe D. Lowell who is representing the scandal-ridden presidential son, Comer said that the committee hearing into alleged foreign influence peddling and corruption “will proceed forward — with or without Mr. Biden.”
Hunter Biden knows his testimony wouldn’t withstand public scrutiny. That’s why he’s running away from next week’s hearing on Joe Biden’s abuse of public office.

Earlier this week, the lawyer had rejected the invitation for the allegedly reformed crackhead and sexual degenerate and his business associates Devon Archer, Tony Bobulinski, and Jason Galanis to tell their side of the story, dismissing the hearing as a “carnival side show.”
“Your blatant planned-for-media event is not a proper proceeding but an obvious attempt to throw a Hail Mary pass after the game has ended,” Lowell said on Wednesday, stating that the younger Biden would be a no-show anyway because he’s set to appear at a hearing in California on March 21.
The four had already provided testimony behind closed doors with Hunter Biden denying that his dad was involved in his shady foreign dealings but the Oversight boss said that the public hearing would be a chance to “examine inconsistencies among the witnesses’ testimonies in order to get the truth for the American people.”
Biden’s lawyer reminded Rep. Comer of remarks he made earlier this year that “All we need are people to come in for the depositions and then we’ll be finished. We just need people to show up to the depositions and we’ll wrap this up. Nobody wants to wrap this up more than I do.”
He said that Hunter Biden “did just as you asked and, as you did when you announced that witnesses could choose depositions, you want to ignore what you said.”
“I must confess my surprise by your hasty request,” Lowell told Comer. “After that six-plus hour deposition on February 28, 2024, along with the realization that your inquiry was based on a patchwork of conspiracies spun by convicted liars and a charged Russian spy, I thought even you would recognize your baseless impeachment proceeding was dead.”
“President Biden has done nothing wrong and certainly nothing, even in your misapplication of the impeachment provisions of the Constitution, to warrant further proceedings,” Lowell added.
“The House Oversight Committee has called Hunter Biden’s bluff. Hunter Biden for months stated he wanted a public hearing, but now that one has been offered alongside his business associates that he worked with for years, he is refusing to come,” the committee said in a Wednesday statement.
“Next week’s hearing with Hunter Biden and his associates is moving forward and we fully expect Hunter Biden to participate. The American people demand the truth and accountability for the Bidens’ corruption,” the statement read.
