Restricting and ending baby murder, otherwise known as abortion, is an absolute moral imperative without any justification for exceptions. But fortunately, contrary to what Democrats and some gullible Republicans will tell you, defending life also won’t cost any national elections.
Three-fourths of Americans, including more than 40% of Democrats, support restricting abortions. The top five issues for voters in this election do not even include abortion, but do include the economy and the border. Republicans should be worrying about Democrat cheating; that is the one major threat to Republicans winning the 2024 election. Yes, there are some Democrats who are fanatically devoted to abortion, but they weren’t going to vote Republican anyway. The idea that it is morally justifiable to allow brutal murder of unborn babies is appalling, but it also has nothing to do with the reality of this upcoming election. Republicans who think it does have swallowed leftist propaganda without any critical analysis—hook, line, and sinker.
There is one man in the Bible who claimed that murder of one completely innocent individual was justifiable and “expedient” if it would help “the people” overall, a very similar argument to that being made by Republicans who believe Democrat talking points about killing innocent babies. That man in the Bible was Caiaphas (Jn.11:50), and he was justifying the murder of Jesus Christ, claiming it would benefit the Jewish people to do so. Murder of the innocent, Caiaphas argued, was the politically expedient thing to do. Caiaphas was a liar. We should take that lesson to heart.
