Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the failed Democratic vice presidential nominee, made a jaw-dropping admission this week at Harvard Kennedy School, revealing that Kamala Harris chose him as her running mate because he could “code talk to white guys watching football, fixing their truck” and “put them at ease.” This condescending, pandering strategy—meant to trick working-class white men into voting for the disastrous Harris-Walz ticket—failed miserably, as men of all races rejected the Democrats in historic numbers.
Walz, who laughably described himself as the “permission structure” for rural white men to vote Democrat, proved just how out of touch the liberal elite truly is. Instead of offering real solutions to the economic and cultural concerns of working Americans, Walz and Harris relied on cringe-worthy stereotypes, assuming that a folksy Midwestern governor could magically erase their party’s radical agenda. Unsurprisingly, voters saw right through it.
“I think I’ll give you pretty good stuff, but I’ll also give you 10% problematic,” Walz quipped when pressed on why he didn’t take his so-called “message” to cable news. This flippant response perfectly encapsulates the Democrats’ unserious approach to governance—more focused on optics than actual policy. While Walz jokes about being a “knucklehead,” the American people are suffering under Biden-Harris failures: open borders, rampant inflation, and a collapsing economy.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance have consistently connected with working-class voters—not through phony “code talk,” but by delivering real results. Trump’s America First agenda resonates because it speaks to the genuine struggles of everyday Americans, not some patronizing stereotype cooked up by coastal elites. The contrast couldn’t be clearer: while Walz and Harris insult voters’ intelligence, Trump and his team actually listen—and act.
The liberal media, of course, gave Walz a free pass for his embarrassing comments, proving once again that they are nothing more than Democrat propaganda. Had a Republican made such a tone-deaf remark, the press would have erupted in outrage. But when a Democrat admits to treating voters like caricatures, it’s brushed off as a harmless gaffe.
WALZ: I was picked for Kamala’s VP so “I could code talk to white guys.”
“I was the permission structure to say, look, you can vote for this.”

Walz’s failed “listening tour” and his delusional belief that Democrats should run a “collective 2028 presidential campaign” only highlight the party’s deepening identity crisis. While they scramble to figure out why men have abandoned them, Trump’s movement continues to grow stronger—because he represents the forgotten Americans Walz and Harris only pretend to understand.
