In a country where the transgender faith, the belief that a man can become a woman or vice versa despite the science confirming that impossibility, has taken two recent, and significant, blows, a third has landed.
Already, the United Kingdom’s Supreme Court said men who say they are female are not “women,” and a separate judicial ruling ordered that a school must provide sex-specific facilities for children.
The third blow is reported by the BBC, which said Parliamentarian Tonia Antoniazzi is accusing two charities of causing “damage” to a “generation of trans and gender questioning children.”
The lawmaker from Wales is calling for a cross-government assessment of that “damage.”
Antoniazzi, from Gower, said she was pleased with the high court ruling.
“There has to be an assessment of… how bad it is. That will only be done by getting people around the table, cross-department, cross-government, working with the devolved nations and working out what the picture is across the United Kingdom,” she said.
The groups in her focus have been identified as Stonewall, a radical pro-LGBT group, and Mermaids, another like organization.
A statement from the Welsh government said, “We are carefully considering the Supreme Court’s ruling and its implications for Wales, and will look to assess if we need to revise our guidance.”
Antoniazzi said Stonewall and Mermaids have been selling a “lie” to children and young people that they can change their sex.
Actually, being male or female is embedded in the human body down to the DNA level, and cannot be changed by chemicals or cosmetic surgeries.
“She has called on the U.K. government to provide help and support to deal with the ‘damage’ that she said both charities have done to a “generation of trans and questioning children,” the BBC said.
She said the organizations “socially transitioned a great number of children” who have been led to believe “they have changed sex but they haven’t and they never will be able to.”
Stonewall told the broadcaster it was reviewing its practices and Mermaids said the organization offers “support to trans, non-binary and gender diverse young people under 20.”
The Christian Institute pointed out, “Earlier this month, American surgeon Eithan Haim highlighted to U.S. lawmakers some of the ‘irreversible physical changes’ to gender-confused children as a result of trans-affirming procedures.
“In a hearing on ‘Ending Lawfare Against Whistleblowers Who Protect Children’, Dr Eithan Haim told the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government how he was threatened with up to ten years in prison for whistleblowing about Texas Children’s Hospital’s (TCH) ‘transgender programme,’” the report said.
The report continued, “Dr Haim, the charges against whom were dropped earlier this year, said puberty blockers lead to ‘irreversible physical changes – sterility, altered bone development, permanent stunting of growth, and many more both known and unknown.’”
