Congressman Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., on Tuesday said there needs to be accountability after a report was released raising concerns that China had mass-produced fake U.S. driver’s licenses to carry out a scheme to hijack the 2020 election with fake mail-in ballots for Democrat Joe Biden.
“If there was criminal activity going on here, you are running out of runway because the statute of limitations is just about over,” Biggs said on the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show. “And good grief, that means that you would have let some really bad apples go free, and we need to get the bottom of that.”
The report, reviewed by Just the News – one of two sent Monday by FBI Director Kash Patel to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley – was sent to U.S. intelligence agencies on Aug. 24, 2020, as an uncorroborated advisory, then suddenly recalled with little explanation other than the bureau wanted to “re-interview” the source, the documents stated.
The new documents were turned over to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who had first raised concerns to the bureau that the intelligence hadn’t been fully vetted, and instead was just dismissed even though there was evidence of the fake licenses.
Biggs said that the American people need to be able to trust the voting process and not doubt it.
