According to LinkedIn and Meta records, Sara Steffens, a key staffer at the CPC Center, has been directly involved in promoting these weekly protests.
Her role as Director of Worker Power further highlights how progressive nonprofit infrastructure is supporting and potentially coordinating the logistics behind these ongoing demonstrations.
Additional evidence obtained by Loomer Unleashed reveals that Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) have participated in virtual organizing calls and pep-rally style Zoom meetings designed to mobilize protesters ahead of scheduled actions. In one such video, Frost appears on an Indivisible-organized call encouraging activists in the lead-up to a protest targeting Elon Musk and President Trump.
Elected Democrats Fuel Broader Protest Movement
Loomer Unleashed has also exposed other Progressive Caucus members fueling the anti-Trump movement. Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI), burdened with over $730,000 in campaign debt, recently filed articles of impeachment against President Trump. When asked if the impeachment push was a political fundraising ploy, Thanedar refused to answer and pivoted to attacking Trump.
On April 5, Loomer Unleashed documented a large-scale anti-Trump protest in Washington, D.C. It was organized by two radical groups: 50501 and the Palestinian Youth Movement. Although billed as separate events, the demonstrations were held in close proximity and scheduled to overlap. This effectively merged them into one massive rally that stretched from the White House to the U.S. Capitol.
Progressive Democrat Caucus Leader Refuses to Condemn Hamas Flag
During the “Hands Off” rally near the Washington Monument, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) addressed the crowd.
Omar, a leader of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, has previously downplayed jihadist threats. In a resurfaced interview, Omar claimed the U.S. should focus not on Islamic extremism, but on “profiling white men,” whom she labeled the biggest terror threat.
Meanwhile, just blocks away, Loomer Unleashed filmed pro-Hamas, anti-Trump protesters arriving—some of whom displayed extremist flags and slogans. When asked by Loomer Unleashed if she would condemn the Hamas flag displayed outside the U.S. Capitol, Omar snapped, “I condemn the smugness on your face.”
Earlier this year, Loomer Unleashed also confronted Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), another Progressive Caucus member, about her ties to radical protest groups. Tlaib denied involvement with the organizations behind anti-Trump and anti-Musk protests, despite documented evidence linking her to their activities.
Radical Organizers Connected to Bernie Sanders Network
The group 50501 is closely aligned with Political Revolution. This is a pro-Bernie Sanders organization that has allegedly raised over $10 million through grassroots channels.
In February, Loomer Unleashed confronted Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) about whether union-linked PAC donations influenced his appearances at anti-Trump protests. Sanders appeared irritated and refused to respond.
Progressive Democrat Caucus Members Linked to Extremist Activity
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) made headlines in March when she said she wanted Elon Musk “taken down” on her birthday. During a follow-up encounter, Crockett physically assaulted Loomer Unleashed journalist Charles Downs after being asked about her comments.
In February, Rep. Maxine Dexter (D-OR) was recorded shouting “F-Trump” at a protest organized by the Association for American Government Employees. When asked about her remark, Dexter denied making it. This was despite video evidence.
On May 1, Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) appeared at a May Day protest featuring bused-in demonstrators. When pressed by Loomer Unleashed about why Democrats prioritize radical immigration demands—such as freeing MS-13 gang members—Frost claimed he was focused on defending the Constitution.
Progressives Plot the Road to 2026
As the 2026 midterms approach, elected Democrats may attempt to project a moderate image. But their participation in and proximity to radical protests—backed by pro-Hamas sympathizers, progressive dark money groups, and leftist nonprofit operatives—tells a much different story. The Congressional Progressive Caucus is not just watching from the sidelines; its members and leadership are actively engaged in shaping and fueling the nation’s far-left protest machine.
