
Vikings legend Adrian Peterson was booked into the Hennepin County Jail on a fourth-degree driving while impaired charge before being released early Friday morning in Minnesota, according to TMZ Sports.
Peterson was reportedly pulled over at 3:20 a.m. after going 83 in a 55 mph zone. The 40-year-old former running back was breathalyzed and blew a .14, well above the legal limit of a .08.
Peterson, who was at U.S. Bank Stadium earlier in the evening as a featured guest at the team’s 2025 NFL draft party, was booked at 5:16 a.m. and took a mug shot at the county jail.
Per jail records obtained by Bring Me the News, Peterson’s bail was set at $4,000 and his court date is May 9.
