Israel is now accusing Iran of a war crime after it hit a hospital with a missile on Thursday. Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz, also flatly stated that Iran’s “Supreme Leader,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is today’s “Hitler” and “should no longer continue to exist.”
Katz stated on X, “The cowardly Iranian dictator sits in the depths of the fortified bunker and fires aimed shots at hospitals and residential buildings in Israel. These are war crimes of the most serious kind – and Khamenei will be held accountable for his crimes. The Prime Minister and I have instructed the IDF to increase the intensity of attacks against strategic targets in Iran and against government targets in Tehran in order to remove threats to the State of Israel and undermine the ayatollahs’ regime.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote, “This morning, Iran’s terrorist tyrants launched missiles at Soroka Hospital in Beersheba and at a civilian population in the center of the country. We will exact the full price from the tyrants in Tehran.”
Iran has crossed a red line
For Israel, a line has definitely been crossed, and they are vowing to go after the Iranian leadership and eliminate them.
From Breitbart:
As Breitbart News was first to report in English, after Israel’s Army Radio reported it in Hebrew, Iran hit Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva during a barrage of roughly 50 missiles, four of which landed.
Missiles also landed in the Ramat Gan area of Tel Aviv, and in the city of Holon, causing several dozen injuries. But the missile that hit Soroka caused the most shock, given the vulnerable nature of the target.
Miraculously, there were very few injuries, as the building that was hit by the missile had been emptied the day before, and all of the staff and patients at the hospital had managed to enter a basement bomb shelter.

Israel’s preparation saved lives
Israel’s health minister, Uriel Busso, claimed that preparations kept everyone alive at the hospital with about 70 being injured in the attack, according to the Jerusalem Post. But he pointed out that the attack did cross a red line since it attacked a hospital that serves Jews and Arabs, Israelis and Palestinians. “This is a significant event for the state,” he noted.
The Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva is the only Level 1 trauma center in southern Israel. It serves more than 1.2 million residents, including 400,000+ children.

Iran has committed a war crime
Katz called it a grave violation of international law to target and hit a hospital when it was not used as a military site. That is in reference to the Palestinians’ penchant for using hospitals as military hubs which is in itself a war crime.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar also called it a war crime on Thursday.
“Behind me you can see the surgery building. It is a building in which every day, the medical team, the doctors, are making tremendous efforts to save human lives. This is exactly the place where the Iranian regime targeted – a civilian hospital. This is clearly a war crime,” Sa’ar said, according to Fox News. “It reflects the Iranian regime’s consistent strategy, they are deliberately targeting civilian population, civilian targets, civilians, children, elderly people. It is unacceptable.”
“We will continue with our operation in Iran. We have a very detailed plan. We know what we do. We will continue to hit nuclear objectives. We will continue to hit ballistic missile objectives. And we will not stop for even one minute before we complete the mission,” he added.

Khamenei is a modern day “Hitler”
The Times of Israel reported:
Visiting the site of this morning’s missile strike in Holon, Defense Minister Israel Katz says Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is “the modern Hitler” and “cannot continue to exist.”
He says that under the IDF’s war goals, “without question this man should not continue to exist.”
“A dictator like Khamenei, who heads a country like Iran and has made the destruction of the State of Israel his declared goal, this horrific goal of destroying Israel, cannot be allowed to continue or materialize,” he tells media.
The IDF is asserting that Iran used a ballistic missile with a cluster warhead in the hospital attack.
“We heard the siren, ran into the stairwell, and then there was a huge explosion… the ceiling literally flew off,” patients told i24 news.
“The missile directly hit a ward that had been evacuated only hours earlier,” the Israeli Health Ministry asserted. “The impact caused minor injuries and damaged parts of the emergency room and other buildings, but hospital operations continued,” J-Wire reported. “Soroka continues to function, and our teams are working in full coordination with the Home Front Command and security officials,” the ministry added.

President Trump weighs his options
Rumors are flying all over the media that President Trump vetoed Israel taking out Khamenei. But he seems inclined to give the green light on that move. Trump says he will make his decision within two weeks, which is a lifetime in a conflict such as this. A solid bet is that he will make the historic decision sooner rather than later at this point.
“Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,” Trump stated.

Naturally, Iran lied once again, claiming it was aiming at a military facility that was adjacent to the hospital in an industrial park. That facility is over a mile away from the strike.
Iran is an existential threat
Something has changed, and the White House is dead certain that Iran is just weeks away from achieving a nuclear weapon, according to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. That charge has been going on for years, but it would seem that behind the scenes, there is proof of it now, and it has caused action to be taken not only by the Israelis but possibly by the US.
“Iran has all that it needs to achieve a nuclear weapon. All they need is a decision from the Supreme Leader to do that,” Leavitt told reporters at a press briefing. “And it would take a couple of weeks to complete the production of that weapon, which would, of course, pose an existential threat not just to Israel, but to the United States and to the entire world.”
Unlike other leaders, Netanyahu does not make impotent threats. Neither does Trump. Both keep their word, and the Iranian leaders are set to pay a very high price for their murderous and evil ways.
