William ‘Billy’ Baldwin has hit back at Sharon Stone’s claims a producer pressured her to have sex with him to improve his performance on-screen.
The 66-year-old skyrocketed to fame thanks to Basic Instinct but has been vocal about the way she was mistreated in Hollywood following the smash hit.
While speaking to Louis Theroux on his podcast, Stone claimed while working on 1993’s Sliver the producer Robert Evans, who died in 2019, had suggested she sleep with her co-star.
She had previously shared this story in her 2021 memoir, the Beauty of Living Twice but didn’t share the identities of anyone involved until now, naming Baldwin as the male lead.
After hearing the podcast, the 61-year-old actor took to X to refute her claims that Evans had pressured her into sleeping with him.
He wrote: ‘Not sure why Sharon Stone keep talking about me all these years later? Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?
