The left has TURNED on former first lady and 2016 Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Clinton PROBABLY did not think her interview would cause so much backlash.
However, that’s just what happened.
Hillary Clinton sat down on The Tonight Show to discuss the upcoming election.
What she said has blown apart the internet.
“Get over yourself, those are the two choices … And, you know, it’s kind of like one is old and effective and compassionate, has a heart & really cares about people, and one is old and has been charged with 91 felonies. I don’t understand why this is even a hard choice,” Clinton said.
Clinton could not have picked a more incorrect way to reach her party.
Mark Longabaugh, a strategist for the Democratic party, gave a statement to The Hill on Clinton’s recent interview.
“I’m not sure that is the most effective way to win disaffected Democrats, younger voters, back to Joe Biden. I’m really not. Young people want to be inspired, they don’t want to be lectured to,” he added. “The way to win them back is not to wag your finger at them but to talk about Biden’s great achievements on climate, about his work to protect a woman’s right to choose, and so on,” Longabaugh said.
No matter if you agree with Longabaugh’s political stance or not, you have to admit he hit the nail on the head.
Clinton’s statement is not going to win back any lost voters for President Joe Biden.
If anything, all she has done is turn the left side of the internet against her.
The left has grown increasingly concerned about Biden seeking reelection, especially after the concerning findings of special counsel Robert Hur.
Hillary Clinton needs to wake up and give up the feeble attempts at winning back voters for Biden!
