Hillary Clinton, a two-time failed presidential candidate, has advised voters to move past their grievances. She scolded those who are unhappy about the potential rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the upcoming 2024 presidential election campaign, saying “Get over yourselves.”
She appeared on The Tonight Show with host Jimmy Fallon to deliver these tone-deaf remarks:
“Get over yourselves, those are the two choices … And, you know, it’s one of, like, one is old & effective & compassionate, has a heart & really cares about people, & one is old & has been charged with 91 felonies. I don’t understand why this is a hard choice, really.”
Watch:
Clinton has once again expressed her full support for Joe Biden in the upcoming 2024 election. In addition to her political endeavors, she is also venturing into the world of Broadway as a producer. To further endorse Biden’s reelection campaign, Clinton has teamed up with Lin-Manuel Miranda, the renowned star of Hamilton. Together, they will be hosting a Broadway-themed fundraiser on April 3 in New York.
The tickets for this event range from $500 to $5,000, and all proceeds will be directed towards the Biden Victory Fund and the Women’s Leadership Forum. As part of the fundraiser, there will be a special performance from Clinton’s new show, Suffs. This musical focuses on the suffragette movement and boasts an all-female and gender “non-binary” cast.
