Joe Biden’s handlers fired off a post on X Thursday attacking Donald Trump while the former president was in New York attending the wake of a murdered police officer, prompting massive backlash.
Here’s the post:
At 3pm, Trump was honouring Jonathan Diller, an NYPD officer murdered by a lifelong criminal during a routine traffic stop in Queens:
Biden was also in New York, but was hanging out at a pompous fundraiser with Barack Obama and Bill Clinton courting rich liberal metro elites for campaign donations.
The tickets cost $500,000 each, with a further $100,000 for a photo with the three of them.
The trio emerged on a moving stage as if they were some sort of rock group, before chatting with ‘comedian’ Stephen Colbert and watching obese singer Lizzo wobble her behind around on the stage.
Yeah, there’s definitely a difference between the two candidates:
Commenting on Biden’s whereabouts, Trump noted that Biden can’t support the police because his base will not allow it.
“I think that politically he can’t support the police,” Trump said, adding “I think he is also making a mistake. But I think politically, his base won’t let him support the police. And I support the police. I would say at the highest level of any president by far.”
“They want to shy away from it. They didn’t even call the family,” Trump said of Biden’s campaign.
