In a recent testimony captured for the upcoming documentary, ‘Screams Before Silence,‘ Amit Soussana, a former Israeli captive, has bravely shared her traumatic experience of being subjected to sexual advances and abuse by her Hamas captors during her time in captivity. This footage sheds light on the dire circumstances faced by hostages held by the Islamic terrorist group.
Soussana, a lawyer from Kibbutz Kfar Aza, was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7 and endured nearly two months of captivity. In the filmed testimony, she describes being chained and confined in a dark room for weeks, living in constant fear of rape by her guards. The footage reveals the chilling reality of Soussana’s captivity and the psychological torment she endured.
Throughout her ordeal, Soussana was guarded by a man she identified as Muhammad, who subjected her to persistent inquiries about her sex life. She recounts Muhammad’s unsettling behavior. Despite her efforts to resist, Soussana ultimately faced sexual assault and rape at gunpoint, highlighting the extreme brutality by the Islamic terrorists.
The documentary footage also underscores the broader context of Hamas’s terror activities, including the October 7 onslaught in which thousands of operatives stormed southern Israel, killing 1,200 innocent Israelis, seized over 250 hostages, and perpetrated countless atrocities across southern Israeli communities.
Soussana’s testimony has drawn widespread condemnation of Hamas’s actions, with President Isaac Herzog praising her bravery and calling for solidarity with all victims of the Islamic terrorist group’s atrocities.
