US troops will kill jihadists with ‘extreme prejudice’ by shooting them in the face, dropping bombs on them or beating them to death with a shovel, a top US Army chief said.
He said: “ISIS needs to understand their two options when facing us: surrender or die!”
In the direct posts on social media he warned ISIS members what will await them if they refuse to surrender.
CSM Troxell wrote on Facebook: “If they choose not to surrender, we will kill them with extreme prejudice through security force assistance, dropping bombs on them, shooting them in the face, or beating them to death with our entrenching tools! #ISIS_SurrenderorDie”.
This warning already came a reality for one jihadi who refused to surrender to allied forces.
An SAS soldier who ran out of ammunition during a six-hour battle with Islamic state fanatics used a spade to decapitate a terrorist.
Back in October last year Donald Trump declared the end of the so-called caliphate to be “in sight” after the liberation of the terror group’s capital in Raqqa.
US Vice President Mike Pence posted on social media: “Our enemies should NEVER DOUBT the capabilities of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
“America always seeks peace, but if we are forced to defend ourselves or our allies, we will do so with military power that is EFFECTIVE and OVERWHELMING, and WE WILL WIN.”
CSM Troxell’s no nonsense warning comes amid continued military operations against the terror group.
CSM Troxell is the senior enlisted advisor to the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff and has served over 30 years in numerous units throughout his military career.
He has seen five combat tours of duty in Panama, Operation Desert Shield/Storm in Iraq, two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
