Donald Trump’s campaign enjoyed a record-breaking haul of $50.5 million at a single fundraising event over the weekend, more than doubling President Biden’s take at a Radio City Music Hall event featuring BOTH former President Bill Clinton and Former President Barack Obama.
The ever-elegant former first lady Melania Trump also graced the event, which was hosted by billionaire hedge fund manager John Paulson and drew over 100 distinguished guests. The former president gave a 45-minute speech before the dinner commenced, adding to the grandeur of the event — there was a suggested $814,600 per person or $250,000 per person entry fee, according to WPTV.
“People are just wanting change,” Trump said before the event. “Rich people want it. Poor people want it, everybody wants change.”
But Team Biden was not in a giving spirit. Biden campaign communication director Michael Tyler appeared on MSNBC — where else, right? — ahead of Trump’s fundraiser to denounce attendees as rich white racists who want to crash the economy and see seniors starve to death.
Junior Biden campaign spokesman Michael Tyler lashes out at President Trump’s record $50+ million fundraiser: “The whole lot of them is a bunch of billionaire scammers, extremists, and racists!”

“I think it stands in stark contrast to the lack of fundraising that you see out of the Trump campaign,” he said. “But as important is how they are raising it. He’s down in Mar-a-Lago tonight with a bunch of billionaires, people like John Paulson who not only wants to cut social security, but he’s famous for, as a hedge funder, rooting against the American economy, betting against the American economy.”
“So I guess it’s no surprise that he’s investing in somebody like Donald Trump who is rooting for the economy to crash… but the whole lot of them is a bunch of billionaire scammers, extremists, and racists.”
Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison added in a statement: “While Donald Trump has been busy awarding himself golf trophies at Mar-a-Lago and palling around with billionaires, Joe Biden has been crisscrossing the nation connecting with voters and outlining his vision to grow our economy from the bottom up and the middle out.”
