A government funded LGBT lobbyist ‘charity’ is encouraging teachers in Scottish schools not to communicate with parents if their children express a desire to ‘transition’ to a different gender.
The Telegraph reports that one school issued such guidance to teachers based on the ‘inclusion scheme’ advice of LGBT Youth Scotland, a radical activist group that receives almost £1 million per year in taxpayer funding.
In a second school, concerns were raised that there could be “problems” with parents discovering their child had changed their name when reports were sent home.
The report notes that more than half the secondary schools in the country are signed up to the LGBT Youth Scotland scheme, costing £850 and offering “charter status” if schools abide by their ‘inclusivity’ guidelines.
A further 40 primary schools in the country are signed up. Primary schools are for children aged 4-11.

LGBT Youth Scotland offers “coming out” guides on its website, including templates for letters advising children how to officially change their name at school, and claiming that teachers cannot inform their parents about a change in gender unless they are deemed to be “at risk of harm”.
The Telegraph further revealed earlier this week that schools signed up to the scheme are appointing children as “LGBT champions” and being encouraged to question pupils about their sexual orientation and gender.
On top of all this, LGBT Youth Scotland was recently embroiled in a scandal with one of its employees under investigation for alleged grooming and child sex abuse:
One of the schools in question send a draft of their new ‘inclusive’ guidelines to LGBT Youth Scotland for review. In a section titled “good practice”, it states that “A transgender young person may not have told their family about their gender identity” and “Inadvertent disclosure could cause needless stress for the young person or could put them at risk.”
“Therefore, it is best to not disclose information to parents or carers without the young person’s permission,” the document adds.
It also states that staff should ask for a child’s name and pronouns, should never “deny their identity” or “overly question their understanding of their gender identity” if they claim to be transgender.
The findings only emerged because of a Freedom of Information request.
Simon Calvert, deputy director of the Christian Institute commented, “The idea that a teacher can just decide on the spot, the first time a kid speaks to them about gender confusion, to socially transition them by using whatever pronouns or name the child wants, is clearly wrong.”
“The idea that they can try to keep their parents – and therefore their doctors – out of the decision is not just wrong, it is unprofessional. Any school following this approach may be putting itself in a legally vulnerable position,” he added, noting that the government’s recent Cass Review determined that social transition has potential “medical implications” and should not take place without strict medical supervision.
Ww have previously highlighted how radical lobbyist transgender activist groups such as Stonewall are injecting LGBTQ+ propaganda into teaching, and even recruiting ‘activist’ teachers to ignore government guidance that has essentially said schools do not have to adopt ‘gender identity ideology’ or recognise ‘social transitions’ among pupils.
These groups masquerading as charities are siphoning taxpayer money to fund their extreme operations, which are directly targeting children.
In addition to government funding, schools are actively paying these radical groups, and all they receive in return is a meaningless ‘inclusivity’ award or status which they can bandy around to score virtue signal points with.
